LINC–TC was established in the Twin Cities in 2008 to serve as a catalyst for Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) congregations to learn about and respond to the communities surrounding their churches. LCMS churches located in Twin Cities neighborhoods are in a unique position to both proclaim the Gospel and partner with their neighbors to address individual and community needs. Churches located in neighborhoods including Phillips in Minneapolis, and Como and Midway in St. Paul are now working with LINC–TC to answer the question, “How can we be more incarnational in this community?”
LINC–TC uses a unique combination of training, volunteer mobilization, coaching, and technical assistance to help churches learn about their neighborhoods and develop a tailored response that includes both evangelism and community development.
