Neighborhood Connections

The Neighborhood Connections process walks alongside congregations to share Christ’s love and care with their community.

Neighborhood Connections helps church congregations learn how they can better connect to their communities
through community discovery and research, meeting their neighbors, and launching initiatives focused on community development principles. The goal is for churches to be transformed into an incarnational presence in their communities, loving their neighbors in practical, contextual ways. Congregations discover their community’s assets, strengths, and capacity for development, as well as the felt needs of their neighbors.

Churches in the following communities are now engaged in the Neighborhood Connections process:

  • South Minneapolis
  • Edina
  • Dayton’s Bluff, St. Paul
  • Midway, St. Paul
  • North End, St. Paul
  • Golden Valley
