Jordan Ray

Jordan Ray
Community Connections Coordinator

My passion for outreach ministry has been something God has developed from a young age. I remember talking with a neighborhood friend when I was 9 and learning that he didn’t know who Jesus was. I was confused. He didn’t even know about Noah and the flood either! I felt sad for him that he didn’t know his Savior, Jesus. I didn’t know then, but God was forming in me a heart for those who don’t know Him, yet. Even today, it is my conviction that many of the challenges we face as Christ-followers are opportunities for us to share the Good News of life in Christ with our neighbors. In May of 2010 I began an internship with LINC-Twin Cities working to start a new worshipping site in the Midway neighborhood of St Paul that came to be known as theAlley Midway. After graduating from Concordia – St Paul’s Director of Christian Outreach Program in 2011, I was asked to be LINC’s Community Connections Coordinator. My duties at LINC have me spending time with several churches discovering what it means for them to be the hands and feet of Christ while partnering with their community for transformation.
